  • Its funny how the olders can perform like that after so many years, and they are still great, I saw them in Prague in 2008 and at first I was scepic about that, but as soon as they start perform I was surprised like little boy who get his desired present on christmass eve:D

  • Every time I see Phil drumming on this last tour the poor guy looks like he is agony and struggling with it all. he has always been my main influence drumming (even had the same teacher as him and roadied a bit for Genesis back a bit). This tour was a little heart breaing for me.

  • Phil Collins in September of 2010 told C TV (with George Stanophlaous) that it was in Canada (either Montreal or Ottawa) where Phil started experiencing back pain and loss of feeling in his hands (I saw Genesis in Boston on 9/11 and Genesis were phenomenal). I think the tambourine jigs on "I Know What I Like" were what did his back in. I'm happy I got to see Genesis once in my life but am sad that Phil Collins won't perform again (he's one of the reasons why I took up drumming).

  • They are old, but they have young hearts and their music is always young

  • @tindrum however, i did manage to play a tune in tribute to them and him, with my acoustic duo, which i sing lead and play percussion and guitar..the after show crowd came by to the local bar where i was playing, and went ballistic..great moment and gig for me, personally !

  • @tindrum i know what you mean..he's been an influence on me as well, and i remember trying to drum to Genesis tunes and his solo stuff.. what a huge loss to the rock and drumming world, that he is no longer able to play...his drumming and sound is so distinctive, you can pick off in the first bar of any thing he plays on..also, as a Montrealer, i am extremely disappointed that i couldn't make this gig..i was, in fact, working myself unfortunately....

  • Saw them in Toronto and in Montreal back in 2007. They were great. I was also inpressed with Phil Collin's French language speaking skills.

  • Absolutely amazing. They've been performing nearly as long as I've been alive and they can still do that on demand...with real instruments, no autotune, no special effects, just a shitpot of talent backed up by expert instrumental performance. I fucking weep at what passes for music today..no one will hear of half the schmucks we have five years from now let alone 40! Thanx for the music guys, it's your gift to the world and we appreciate it!

  • jazzy cool.

  • 6 people have bad taste in music.

  • @B17MIKE Sounds damn fine to me.
