I'm sure if he were alive today he'd probably become a fan of anime or at least be fascinated with it.

I disagree somewhat. If anything, I always felt that the childhood friendship aspect of the story felt a bit rushed. They could have milked more out of it.
In general though, on the rare occasion when I run into that film, I'm surprised all over again by how relatively dark it can get. I find it odd that it never got much attention for that element (along with quite a few other things Disney was turning out in its confused, late Ron Miller/early Eisner era.)

Does anyone else notice this leg sticking out behind his head when he's talking at about 4:57 theres just this set of legs not moving nor is the elephant

Even with the exciting climax, I'm afraid "The Fox and the Hound" suffers from pure execution. Without a doubt, it's most redeeming quality is the tender friendship between Widow Tweed and Tod; the rest feels rather forced and overly sentimental.

I love the jungle book! Especially the actors

What's the difference?

Bruce was also the first voice of Christopher Robin in the Pooh series. This was only in "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree".
-
Pooh is still a bear though.
Bagheera: Now, while you create a disturbance I'll rescue Mowgli. Got that?
Baloo (walking and dancing along): I'm gone then, solid gone.
Bagheera: Not yet, Baloo!

Woolie Reitherman was the action guy he's always had a taste for animating fight scenes or large ferocious characters like the dinosaur battle in "Fantaisa", monstro the whale in "Pinocchio", the dog fight in "Lady and the Tramp", and the prince slaying the dragon scene in "Sleeping Beauty"!!!
