Weekly sampler: 24-29 of may

Wanted to start adding moves together, so that I would have a better trampoline routine,

however on thursday, I over rotated a timer and tore my MCL.....I know , I too wish it was on a cooler skill. sad thing is im going to be out of commission for 6 months.

  • That really sucks but at least you got it on tape. I have no idea what the hell happened to my (supposedly torn) meniscus. I had several jumps gone wrong last Tuesday. Landed on the steel springs and scratched my face, also tore up my elbows through twisted "belly" jumps (nothing new there). Was standing on the trampoline telling the trainer I needed a break. Took one step forward and fell down screaming. Bye bye dear knee of mine - and no MRI until in a week. Sucks sucks sucks... The Grinch

  • @Foolanna Well, I feel your pain. 6 months later and i'm just now able to run, jump and flip comfortably.

  • i tore my mcl which is the meniscus and i just had surgery i know the pain it really sucks

  • I had almost no pain when I tore my mcl and I didn't ho to the docter untilled a week and a half after I tore it.....but I guess every ones different.oh and good vid

  • I guess every one is deferential but I tore my mcl a week and a half ago and today was the first time for me to go to doctor and yep its tore. But it hurt like a motherfucker the first idk 45 seconds of the injury then it didn't really hurt much at all.....besides the fact that my knee would buckle in so far I could fill my ACL getting stretched. But over all not much pain and no er.......but every ones different oh and good vid.

  • @ shirosaru

Thank you for this video, the footage is amazing. I am within my first 12 hours since my own "undiagnosed injury"

Am I correct that you impacted the inside blade of your left foot?

I have done the same to the right foot and "WOW" does that hurt!

Any more imput you have is appericated, most of all how are you doing today

  • Same thing happened to my brother, he plays rugby, but hes boot got stuck when his body span round and his cartiladge in the joining of his leg got ripped along with his MCL

He was getting better after 6 months

So he was stilla bit rusty but he tryed to do some training by running laps

He ripped it again because it wasnt fully healed, he hasnt been playing rugby now for around 1+ years

And he got really pissed off because his team were getting a special train from Johnny Wilkinson but he couldnt

  • Ouch dude I had my leg off to my side and I felt pain when I watched you.

  • @shirosaru

Thanks. Got the results today and apparently I've torn both my meniscus and my ACL. Will get surgery for the meniscus and physiotherapy for the ACL (apparently my insurance doesn't cover ACL surgery..?). Did you have an OP on both or just the meniscus?

By the way you rock at the trampoline!
