I bet they could sympathize with the victims of the Indian boarding schools. Chirstians sent their kids to boarding school to impersonate Gods sacrifice of his son? Man, if the parents of these victims can see them now they would probably think twice in sending (or "sacrificing") their children to answer "God's calling." For natives it was a means of survival and by forceful actions(most cases) I hope they get justice for what was wrongfully done to them in the name of god. Same for natives too.

@jinebro Actually a lot of the parents who are still alive suffer quite a lot knowing that their children were abused at a school where the parents thought they were safe.

There were public school teachers of the same calibre. My 1st grade teacher, Mrs Bower. Had the red correction pencil. I can remember the girl in front of me going up to the teachers desk to retrieve her paper. One big checkmark had been put across the 81/2 X 11 paper. I always remember the tear running down the girls' cheek. After my mom had a talk with the Principal Mrs. Bower stopped having kids sit in a closed utility closet as punishment.
