@BobLeKatt Yes, "小姐" in Mainland means sex workers. However, this word is widely used in Taiwan, meaning "young woman".

@PeggyTeachesChinese I don't understand how words are so ambiguous in chinese. It's mandarin, it's like this language can change fast. It's almost like people in taiwan speak just a little different from people in china, but they can each other very well. This mades chinese frustrating to learn. I don't know what words to learn.
