New Castle Police say “Operation Detroit” continues this week as they work to track down and arrest several suspected drug dealers. Local police and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office are still looking for over 15 people charged as drug dealers in what investigators allege is a major crack cocaine operation based out of Detroit.
Police arrested almost a dozen dealers since Friday. Investigators say the drug rings came to New Castle from Detroit, Michigan. They blame the rings for selling as much as 2-million-dollars worth of crack cocaine in the New Castle area since 2003.
Attorney General Tom Corbett says this drug bust is not an isolated one for our area. He says drug kingpins are targeting smaller Pennsylvania cities. Corbett is working with the New Castle Police and Lawrence County District Attorney John Bongivengo to arrest a total of 28 dealers.

@frostedlambs not that bad??? Are you crazy. I'd look into some murders by those Detroit boys. I hope they spend many years in prison. Life for the murderers. You must be one of the buyers. Good job police.
