Maybe FF1, and a HUGE maybe with FF12 it just depends on whether I can put up with the framerate fluctuations or not...

Excellent Tactic on utilizing the Justice Rod and the Dragon Staff the way you did. Another good tactic is to have Jean use her Goddess Clip (power drive) on Hiro OR Leo for a quick victory. 13 years later and I'm still learning new stuff on here.

The reason I don't use spells like Power Drive in a Tactic is because I find it to be too random.  I just do it manually so that I KNOW Hiro and/or Leo will get it, rather than Ronfar...=/

Oh Im sorry, I was mistaken in my last comment. I didnt mean use Power Drive in a preset, I meant to simply input the command in battle manually. Sorry bout that. You're right though, presetting power drive does randomize it. Although I play through the game manually anyway.
