Beatniks downing bennies in 1963's The Moving Finger. Great little film from the tail end of the Beat Generation. Beatniks work and live at a coffee house that is run by a phony poet who only wants to cash in on the Beat craze. A wounded bank robber with a pile of cash is found hiding in the basement of the coffeehouse. Some really excellent period street scenes of Greenwich Village. The film didn't have a theatrical release and was unearthed by Something Weird Video.
