yeah...but if you depend on rolling high... many dice don´t help that much (ask ork players)
you should always have some range anti-tank in your list

guard is unbeatable i should know. I've tried using Tau, Black templar, Grey knights and Blood angels. The sheer number of units that they can field and the fact that at least half if not most of the army uses long range wpns.Whoever rated guard as lower than the supposed top armies should be slapped.

to me you lost because everybody makes the mistake of putting small or easy troops on your own objective to hold it through out the game...it would been better if you kept them away from it then moved in on the last 2 turns....mind you could ov used your tanks and transports to Ram his and/or tank shock as this always overlooked and has helped me a few times especially a landraider...but it was a interesting game

lol i was eating lucky charms while watching this, and when i looked down at the last few pieces, there was a red blood drop looking thing in the middle with two sorta wing looking shapes on either side 0_o How did you manage to do this jawaballs?

theres no way IG are the most powerfull all the armys just have to be played right with a bit of tactics and luck but im guessing the people who say that are the people who use IG its the same for anyone rlly if some said deamons are the best than they would like to use deamons
besides the game is also based on luck of the dice and no one can control that

I have to differ with you here. I am sure a lot of Necron players will agree. Yes, list, tactics and player skill matter, but I believe the guy who won Best General at Bolscon was a relatively new player playing a sick guard list. The point is that his list was what won him Best General and that comes down to IG being more powerful. They can field a LOT more firepower, have comparable mobility and above average survivability to any other army in the game. That makes them the current "best".
