Hog Wild
latitude 36.1835, longitude -120.983

In 1924 a hunter purposely released a handful of wild boar in Monterey County. Now the pigs number in the hundreds of thousands and reside in all but two of California's 58 counties. Big, fast, smart and hungry, these animals often out-compete native species and damage fragile native ecosystems. Now hunters are stepping up to be part of the solution.

  • TO: Firethunder tv if you have ever eaten meat then an animal had to die and if it was not for people that hunted the world would be plagued with disease and you would not have any vegetables to eat because they would be ravaged

  • @novan3 that was a very dumb comment

  • Stupid hunters. Animals have feelings too when a member of their family dies!

  • Yea, pigs got away! Hunters suck! How would they like it if someone were hunting THEM down and killed them? Then took a picture of their kill and hung their head on a wall? Animals have families too! There are too many people on this planet. Should we pick and choose who will live, and kill the ones we feel are undeserving of life???

  • Give the hogs guns to even playing field a bit.

  • Mmmmm bacon!
