This is punk. Sure, it doesn't fit the genre, but it fits the aesthetic. Johnny Cash did exactly what he wanted when he wanted. He was a devout Christian, but the biggest badass in music. Johnny Cash is saluted throughout the music world forever for being true to music. He was a punk.
