http://www.opiates.com/rapid-detox/ rapid detox procedure for vicodin, Percocet, oxycontin and methadone addiction. Detox addiction to painkillers in only a few days not weeks. A cocktail of drugs keeps the patient asleep so he doesn't feel the agonizing pains of withdrawal from the drugs. Opiate addiction treated only in a couple of hours.

  • It's definitely an intriguing concept. However, I have to agree with fellow posters that it looks like a medically induced coma with hospital grade pharmaceutical barbs/benzos with heavy naloxone to clear king opiate out of the brain. But, I'm not a doctor. I would think the procedure's rate of success and comfort/discomfort largely depends on the individual undergoing the treatment. I can tell you that I've been through withdrawals a few times for a bad hydrocodone addiction and the 2nd time

  • Maybe the junkie cop should go to prison...that's what would happen to the average joe...the hell with detox...he should just quit! Such a double standard...he gets medical care...if it were me, i would get jail time...go figure!

  • Lucky Bastard! I had to kick smack cold turkey. @ weeks of no sleep, the first three days I couldn't move w/out vomiting, no energy to get up after the nausea subsides. And did I mention no sleeping during all this? One min. burning up, the next, freezing to death, rapid jerking of the extremities. Grasping at straws, deliriously asking my wife: I know you brought something for me, please please! But doing it for my newborn son, I made it through it! Like I said: Lucky Bastard!

  • @dan3f420

I was thinking the same... his poor liver. All that acetaminophen.

  • What if you detox yourself and clean up from pills but then something happens and you get hurt really bad and need the pills. Will a doc give them to you or make you suffer so do not get addicted again? Will would get dependant again if say you broke your foot and the doc gave you like 30 percs for it? Just curious...

  • 18 vicodin a day? That would be about 6-9 grams of tylenol, which can be toxic at 3 grams. He is lucky to be alive if that is true.

  • i would like to know what can be done about persons promoting teen drug abuse on youtube. any suggestions?

  • @dizzy87

    lol my thoughts as well.......

  • Wait so he was addicted to pain killers, but now he has to take other pills to get rid of his addiction...Jesus just smoke pot

  • Very interesting. Maybe you should get counseling & rehab with your surgery? Someone to look out for you when you go home. Miracle? Cure? Safe? Healthy?
