hey i'm 5'3" as well it's the perfect size for our height, especially if you will use it everyday or tend to carry a lot of things in your hand bag (makeup bag, coin pouch, sunglasses case, big wallet, adgenda, etc. and more). if you are a minimalist or only plan to use the bag for special occasions, i'd probably get the 30 instead but they were only sold in japan and hawaii.
