This music is the best on tv and a show like LOST deserves it.

Now that the series is over, this reminds me I GOT TO watch it all over again, because there's moments such as this, Jack saying to Desmond they're gonna see each other again in another life that are precious... it's good to realize how things repeat themselves thru the series. Lost is pure gold. :)

an "old" theme?? I thought that theme was new to season 4. Anyways, without Giacchino's music Lost wouldn't be so epic as it is :)

You're right, the word "old" is misleading. It's a theme used previously in the season, but only a couple of episodes earlier. I should have been more clear.
That said, it does share some characteristics with Parting Words, from the first season finale. It almost feels like a reversal of that theme. But I'm probably talking out of my ass. I know nothing about music, just what I like. And I like Michael Giacchino lots and lots and lots.
