You need to raise hell w/the company.
A socialized system would create rationing of services. Cuttin off incentives to quacks would also drive them out the field. I have a friend who works for a large ins firm.
I'm not speculating.
Cut down on malpractice costs, and med costs will fall. Keep it private; otherwise, quality will fall.

You have no idea what it would be like. You're just being cynical. I love being screwed over by my heartless bloodthirsty insurance company. They are just itching to find a reason to deny a claim. It's a broken system. I pay 100's each month for a personal policy. I got a second job just to pay for it. Went to the doctor.. had some tests.. and guess what... CLAIM DENIED. I landed in instant debt and not can't afford any ins. policy. How fucked up is that!

Why don't you try cutting govt spending, which the Congress is supposed to do, before railin against Bush.
He spends zero money. He can either sign or reject spending bills. That's it.

I don't think there was manipulated intel. Hussein was dirtier than BO. Violated cease-fire 17 times. He should have been removed in 91, but that wasn't PC. He also could have stepped down.
Were Hussein still there, he'd be receivin a zillion dollars to rearm, cozied up to the Russians, and may even have reconciled with Iran.
Removing him was strategically the best thing to do. Look at the big picture.

i agree. Having said that, it's becoming more clear that the Bush administration deliberately manipulated intelligence to start this war. So I am inclined to hold most responsible those with the most blood on their hands.

Bush administration is responsible for 500+ BILLION dollar deficit. The still increasing price tag on the Iraq war. I'm saying that just might be a contributing factor into the economic downturn.

Socialized med is a terrible idea. I've seen Medicare upclose and personal, and the utter waste and fraud of it is criminal.
It will cost several times what its worth.
There are other better ways to contend with it.
