Don't worry, be happy. My comment seems overly critical, didn't mean it to be. Just think you have even more talent. Your songs are great, but that extra production helps to stand the tests of time. If you weren't so good, I wouldn't even bring it up.

hey just wanna to say you are better just doing it on your own cause it seem like they don't like it your own way your way is way better then what they say it is and that's why i like your music but if you do it there way then i may not play your music anymore that's why i like you cause your not like all the music out there

I love this song, and the earlier video of the saloon/nightmare/bacon martinis/skulls! The song is full of irony and references to loss at blackjack and and other loss..like many unfortunates who have a pretty unhappy time in the Happiest place on Earth. A female backing would be a bit cliched, the song is a lonely one.correct me if I'm wrong but the song is not about love lost, but dignity lost? The studio vocals sound great, Tom, and IMHO I would keep away from a big production on this one.

i love your take on the song... yes, it's gonna be a pretty basic simple track.

Hey man, its coming along! Keep it up. Regardless of what people say, criticize or whatever, just remember, keep being yourself. Your writing is great. Its obvious that people dig your stuff. So keep your head high and proud because you are going places man.

I have really enjoyed your stuff, and your sound. I hate to criticize at all so please take this constructively.
You need just a little more arranging, a bridge here and there, and more non vocal riffs. I forget what song it was, but when you have somebody else soloing behind you a little bit, it helps to keep all your songs from sounding the same. I think it would really benefit you to have another creative input to keep you fresh. Keep it coming man, you have a ton of talent! And smile!

thanks Dave... I worry about that a lot. I hear what you're saying and I agree.
