  • Wow, this is cool, but where is this from? Is it from the philosophical essays? I could swear that I know this piece, but I can't find it amongst my books.

  • @mottiain This is from Language, Truth and Logic (New York: Dover, 1952) a chapter entitled A Critique of Ethics.

  • @mottiain Also, his 1954 Philosophical Essays.

  • @PetetheJazzMan - I like it. I never had the time to read Ayer properly and she's picked out the interesting bits and I can study it while I do the other things I'm busy doing. I'd rather she doesn't interpret it. That way, I get to study Ayer, rather than someone's interpretation of Ayer. If you don't like it, you don't have to watch it.

  • God you're gorgeous.

  • Jezzz..

So, what is the point? Free Will is simply a paradox used to bind people to debate stupidity?

I'm sorry. You read nice, you look nice, but, I stopped early.

    What is the point?

  • My bad! No wonder it was so familiar. Thanks.
