Actually I played this on PS3 (new console). Someone ported it. $6 to download & play these old PS1 games. Music's buggered. They put the music playback in the same thread as the renderer, and I suspect the rest of the game.

Thank god for the interwebz. Without Youtoob, I'd have to actually FINISH the game to see this stuff. Instead, I can play the part of the game that's actually enjoyable, and skip the big, final, annoying boss battle and watch the results of some O.C.D. sufferer playing it through to the bitter end.
