@caguy562 Because the commentators are morons. A personal best performance that gets ranked third (on the night) is by no stretch of the imagination the performance of the night.
Still, at least they didn't pull anything like the Sale-and-Pelletier-were-robbed nonsense of 2002...

I will be in Turin for the Worlds, and I hope to see THEM ALL, even if it's just a dream.........I have a tickets only for men competitons, and I enjoy men competiton - all men skaters are fantastic, even if all of us have some preferences, I think they are just great persons and great athletes. :-)

Talking about this olympics.... I think that will be much more competitive. Plushenko, Lysacek (who i really like) Lambiel (was great in the europeans, but still no 3 axel!), Joubert (who has a great SP, very Yagudin like) and maybe Takahashi and Chan are all at the same level this year. I hope that Lysacek win this year I really like is Scheherazade and Lambiel or Joubert or Plushenko win the other medals.

Dear Annie, now I understood your point of view, and you've right......These days, before olymp competition I am under the sweet tension - so I watched the old videos, and enjoy so much to remember some unforgetable moments - included that two kings on Ice in Salt lake :-) I will never forget it...
