A look at the roadside tourist park, South of the Border, on I-95 in Dillon South Carolina. Directed by Lisa Napoli, Videography by Tim Taylor, Edited by Elaine Cooper, Production Support, Preston Wiles Circa 1991
My response to South of the Border?? Go there, get roarin' drunk and take several hits of good acid,...I recommend this to anyone....It will cure you of capitalism and all that shit forever....Alan Shafer was an assimilated JEW...thats right: he doesn't care about skin color- just money color...you capitalist mensch you!! I hope al Queada bombs it! Mazeltov!
Very good job with this video...from the beginning to the end! All my questions have been answered. My entire family have always been curious about this place over the many years of our regular trip to the coast. Thanks again...now we know! Will we stop next time? Maybe. Maybe not...That's the beauty of living in a free world.
it isnt a tourist trap its been years and years of family memories for me i have went to being a kid lighting fireworks off never seeing so much in my life,to getting rooms out back smoking blunts an jamming beers down.. this place is some of my favorite memories cause i hate people and getting away is beautiful.they have the resteraunt that everyone post a license plate were there from its amazing all of em
This place is a great stop off point for 30 minutes to a week, we come here every year in our RV for a week and during the year for weekends , the Campground is very nice, there are places to eat, shop or just walk around for daily exercise, This is worth the stop over so you can say you have been there

Love that place. My Dad took me there in the summer of 1989, and I took my daughter there summer of 2009! Hasn't changed a bit!
