Soon to come training for the PMDG 737NGX from Angle of Attack. Sign up below.

flyaoamedia.com/pmdg-737-ngx-training/

This time Nick shows an in depth look at some integral systems of the aircraft, including the DEUs, IRS, Electrical, Hydraulic and Air Conditioning. Things are explained in a way where you understand the connection between the systems, and the nuances of what is supposed to happen during the process is quite impressive.

Here is a disclaimer from Nick:

• I made this video to show the aircraft to another member of the AOA team who is entitled to the wide beta but has had computer troubles and is not yet able to use it. It was intended to show him the aircraft so that he could get an idea of the equipment simulated. It was therefore entirely off the cuff, unscripted and not intended to be instructional in any way.

• This video therefore does not reflect the standard of our final training product. It is rough, and my informal, off the cuff explanations may at times be inaccurate.

• Our final product is meticulously scripted and structured so as to provide the best learning experience.

• This video was intended solely to put across my initial thoughts and a quick look at the incredible depth to which PMDG have simulated the 737NG.

  • 8 year experienced simmer here. been watching your vids on this AC for some time. outstanding. and certainly, showcasing an 'outstanding product. i'm getting this. have a number of other aftermarket products running in FSX, but this will most certainly be the pride of the fleet. previous, i would say it's my Flight1 Citation Mustang, or the Wilco Citation X. also have caranado stuff, etc.. this one is going to be special. looking forward.....

  • Does FSX have this free moving camera view as default or with some addon?

  • Very nice video mate! I have exactly the same problem with my throttle as well! Tried to calibrate it but the problem unfortunately still remained.. Any suggestions? Cheers!

  • Man this is a blessing! Going through the course!

  • bless you (4:10)

  • For the hot bus which is "always" powered, what powers a hot bus when the cockpit is cold and dark? Is there any battery, I understood that until you switch on the battery switch, battery power is not provided to any of the buses, or am I wrong?

Also, if there is power in the hot bus to provide power for 2 secs to the DEU, then why does the Capt's displays go blank? I hoped that it would provide 2 secs of power to the DEU1 (as in your case) and both the displays will be on.

    Thanks,

  • How do you move around the cockpit ? Do you need Track IR for that or do you use the mouse?

  • If only FSX's default aircraft were like this!

    5/5 Nice!

  • @inkychris1234 you did not set your FLT ALT for your cruise altitude. This is what you need to set if you are running auto pressurization. This will tell the air system how to pressurize the passenger cabin for higher altitudes.

  • When I pass between 10-12 thousand feet it must be, I get an "Air cond" warning light and sound. The FLT ALT becomes dashes. All of the temperatures are 0 deg. Could someone tell me how to set up that part of the pannel so that, well it doesn't happen?! thanks.
