Great video!! I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian (former Roman Catholic), but I completely agree with the points you make in this video. We Orthodox Christians in America are standing behind you against the government mandate that forces religious institutions to pay for contraception which is a total violation against religious freedom.

@ChrisStefanick I attend a Serbian Orthodox Church, but I was chrismated in the Greek Orthodox Church. The Serbian Orthodox is closer to where I live. They use the Julian Calendar though, so Christmas for me is January 7th. When I was at the Greek Orthodox, Christmas was on December 25th. It's all the same faith though. Russian, Greek, Serbian, Romanian Orthodox is all the same faith.

@stinkygeorgia1 I do believe in Jesus. & that he is our salvation. & that he's the way to heaven. I also accept John 3:16...and with John 6 which talks about the Eucharist/eternal life. I don't agree with man-made, evangelical theology, (the teaching of Germany in the 1500's) that everyone who hasn't prayed your sinner's prayer is going to burn in hell. It's taught nowhere in the history of the Church - or in scripture.

@ChrisStefanick And Jesus said to Thomas: "because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29) It's sounds like you are not blessed, for you have believed in the teachings of Rome ("your man-made formula"), instead of Jesus Christ Himself, the God-made formula. Have you ever heard of John 3:16? You need to open your heart to Jesus Christ and "no other name."

@stinkygeorgia1 Sorry - Calvin's formula is from the 1500. No one believed like you did until then. It's man made. Find the "sinner's prayer" in scripture...if one prayer is all you had to do to get "in," don't you think Jesus would have taught it to people?

@stinkygeorgia1 We Catholics don't condemn others to hell. That's above our pay grade. You have worked salvation into a neat formula that's found nowhere in scripture - and have excluded all but evangelicals (which have only existed for the past few hundred years or so) based on your man-made formula.

Jesus is the only way to heaven, but he can work outside of what you see to get people there.

@donnoestyll - the compelling reasons for a theist not to murder is that life has inherent meaning, dignity, and value, because we have a creator. We are not an accident of evolution. By your logic, if an atheist could get away with a crime, then why not? Joy?...there's a joy that knowing the creator of all things gives me that nothing else can compare to. My life is JOY! :) Seriously...
