The Stanley Hotel History & Ghost Tour: 7/9/09

My family and I went on the History and Ghost tour of the Stanley Hotel in Estas Park, Colorado. The tour explains the history of the hotel and of the ghosts that haunt it.

Its was also the filming location for Stephen Kings "The Shining" mini series. And where King stayed in room 217 in the 70's and concieved the novel "The Shining"

And NO, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE WHERE STANLEY KUBRICKS FILM WAS SHOT.

It was quite an experience to be there with all the ghosts and what not. And it was cool to see some of the shots from Stephen Kings movie

Maybe you could pan around the outside of the hotel for a few more minutes... Really liven this up.

I'm surprised they would even allow a movie to be filmed here. Did they close the hotel during production?
