  • @mark94baller : Yeah. ANd in doing so he just so happened to compare it with one of the most visually spectacular landscapes in the universe. He didn't say 'Have you ever seen a picture of Walmart?'

  • @rmed30 You just don't understand what he's trying to say. He's not comparing a Tool show to sight seeing at the Grand Canyon. He's trying to say that you get a different experience when you just see pictures or video's it, rather than actually being there.

  • Pretty arrogant of Maynard to compare a Tool show to the Grand Canyon. Don't get me wrong, they are both kick ass. It's just very arrogant.

  • I wonder if Adam and Maynard have landmines on their front lawns to scare away the poparazzi

  • lmao look at maynards reactions

  • Die Eier Von Satan

  • I agree that being there is the best..but I like both experiences. It would be nice to kick back with a few brews at the house and throw in a Tool DVD on full blast.

  • @backroadjunkie Tool shows are better from the back. you actually get to enjoy the concert as a whole, especially their mind blowing laser light show. and a blu ray experience will never justify the atmosphere of actually being at one. not to mention, do you know how annoying it is to be at a concert where all you see are cameras of people recording and flashes?

  • what a Tool.. the blue ray experience is sometimes better then being there unless you can afford front row.

  • When you can't afford fucking Tool tickets, seeing video of them live would be the next best thing. I have and enjoy Rush DVDs and I've seen Rush live, and it is completely obvious that they are not the same experience. I think most people who watch their favorite bands on TV or on the internet are well-aware that a live concert is a completely different experience. Are Tool really suffering from lack of ticket sales? Come on.
