whoa wait x1??? i thought you meant each throttle plate was 48.3mm that wouldnt be far off but yeah 48.3 for all for rotors is ouch...

@SmokinSNYP3R felix wankel invented it and he was a german but many manyfactures have tried to work with the rotary engine but only mazda succedeed

no? NSU developed the engine in the 50's but couldn't get it to work. They opened up the rights for every manufacturer to create and develop the engine. The only one who sucseeded at perfectionising the Rotary Engine was Mazda. other manufacturers like Peugot and Mercedes tried aswell. Even Citroen.
