  • Thanks for posting this fine example of something that you don't see much on TV anymore: real TALENT!

  • Mickey Newbury should be listed as a National Treasure. He is that talented....both as a performer and a songwriter as well.

  • Died much too young!

  • Opps, sorry thought it said "Johnny Bravo show" I wish Johnny Cash was more like Johnny Bravo......

MARIO AND JOHNNY BRAVO 4 LIFEEEEEEEEEEE!

  • One of my favorite writers in history!

  • THIS FUCKING OWNS!!!!!

  • Ohn God how miss Mr, Mickey Newbury .

  • Genial! whats name of that two music?

  • Absolutely the most brilliant singer and songwriter, ever. Songs so filled with emotion, one can't help but be moved to tears by the poetic imagery of the lyrics, and the haunting beauty of the melodies. I have almost everything this man ever recorded, and their is not one bad song amidst the lot. Words can't really describe the depths of this man's talents. One has to sit and listen to the songs, and then it all becomes crystal clear - genius.

  • 'She even woke me up to say goodbye' is one of those songs that appears simplistic

but plumbs the depths of human emotions. There'll never be another Mickey Newbury.

  • EMERALDEMMY - Nashville is what killed country music , that is why Mickey left Nashville. I know because my husband and Mickey were best of friends. lynng1947
