This is the most beautiful sounding snare I have ever heard! I use to work at Guitar Center years ago and no other snare would compare to this. It just has the best all around sound! Rock, Jazz, Funk, Reggae, ...etc.

Am LOOKING FOR ONE; IF ANYONE KNOWS OF ANY had one and lost it...Thanks....Peace

I own one of these too and until I have thousands to spend on a Black Beauty, this is the snare I pick for my do it all snare.
I also love the 60's Ludwig Supraphonic chrome over brass snares. Be hard to pick one over the other but you get a lot of value from the ferrone at $350ish on ebay.
The one shown here is tuned nicely too-a good rep. of how good it can sound. I tune mine for trio bebop playing and it sounds perfect for my tastes-brushwork is defined yet mellow for small venues. Love it!

chouette son, tellement chouette que je viens de craquer sur une belle en occase!!!
tu es reglé comment, plutot tendu non? quelles peaux?
Merci au passage pour tout ces tests, c'est super utile!
Merci d'avance!
How is this tuned? It sounds great. Is the bottom head cranked up too?

im thinking of buying this snare on ebay, looks beautiful, im choosing between this or the ludwig supraphonic, but man this is gorgeous, the video makes it look like 14x5.5 though not 6.5. but what do u think?
