I love Earth too. I think it should be respected, and we should take care of the environment. I don't know about this "MOTHER earth" stuff. But I am on the same page as everyone else about taking care of the plant (and actually all the animals too). I just don't get the "mother earth" term, it doesn't make any sense to me. I guess there are people who like to call earth that, and to each his own I suppose.

@Chrliesangelsman It's just a term of affection some people use, like Mother Nature. I personally don't think that the Earth gave birth to me XD. I'm glad you love Earth, too!

@Mileyangel321: people also need to start being concerned about the animals out there as well. They are treated horribly at the hands of man! I am not someone to get on a soap box about "don't eat meat" because I certainly do, HOWEVER, there are chicken farms that throw live male chicks into a grinder simply because they are male chicks. Or using drugs to make a chicken so fat it's legs break from all the weight it has to support. Things like that make NO SENSE.

@Chrliesangelsman Oh, don't even get me STARTED. I am an animal lover and I don't eat much meat, but I DO eat it. I know that animals are essential to our diet; that part I'm okay with. HOWEVER, I think it's horrendous how some of these "farms" treat the animals. Also, I believe that animals should be killed as painlessly as possible. For all the carnivores out there, I've heard that meat actually tastes BETTER when the animal was happier in life.

@Mileyangel321 I think that the meaning of life on Earth is to get an intelligent enough and vegetarian creature in the end..., which may solve the "food chain" violent problem, rescue the vegetarian animals from predators, and find nonanimalstic food to them, so to create peace, love, life and understanding..., but maybe also reaching with the physical body the spiritual world and find the creations with a new level of consciousness. .

@Chrliesangelsman I think it is called Mother Earth because it brings us to life and it gives us food... like a mother does bring to life and gives milk to a little baby. :-)
