Okay fair play - I respect your knowledge and reasoning.
Let me tell you my criticisms regarding the use of Helvetica in iOS 7. On the lock screen it I think it looks way too thin, and consequently Android-ish.
I've no complaints with the text under the icons, but I don't like the virtual keyboard - again the text is too thin and reminds me of a google service.

Pretty similar, I'd guess... just with probably really crappy user interfaces. Don't give Apple more credit than it deserves; remember, their contributions are important, but so are everyone else's. Like Android, which is where iOS 7 clearly got plenty of inspiration.

Forstall? The same guy that made OS X a garish, bubbly, Aqua mess and the same guy that created fake leather stitching and green felt in certain iOS and OS X apps?
Heck no, dude. Forstall needed to go.

Bad taste in typefaces?
Helvetica Neue Lightweight is one of the most elegant fonts ever. Its x-height is slightly lowered for better readability, it's got similar glyphs to standard Neue except that the weight is lighter, and it scales well on high-resolution displays. I don't see how there's any better option that fits in well with the rest of the Apple repertoire, which are Myriad Apple (another great font), and Lucida Grande.
You try and find one. I guarantee you won't.

I think Scott Forstall was more important.
