"When the Wind Blows, The Cradle Will Rock" is the amazing true story of the Federal Theatre Project and the people who stood up to the government and its censors in the 1930's.
That was amazing! I'd only read a little bit about the history of this show before seeing this video - now I wonder why it's not a more well-known story!
I was lucky to see this movie last night! Nicholas Johnson, member of FCC in 1966 at age 29. ~ The Media Barons and the Public Interest ~The beginning of ITT merging with ABC to improve programs in best interest of public--concerns of possible arbitrary powers speaks of measures trying to prevent possibility of of political, social & economic consequences. Congress appointed FCC to enforce 1934 Communications Act without specifics then & still today. Art? Not pork spending! The Rhetoric of No
