I still have visions of whoever it was running up the hill to watch the plane go over. I cried a lot watching the film. Just love the music though, my local dance hall used to play it for the last waltz too lol. Those were the days, no drink, no drugs needed to just enjoy your life.

Luckily my parents brought me up listening to this kind of music. And I personally like classical music as well. These songs and music are simply wonderful. Though I listen and like today's modern music, I still appreciate and love this kind of genre.

To all you Baylor Bears fans, Kansas City Chiefs fans, and hardcore Los Angeles Rams fans out there: This was the #1 song in the USA when Gary Green came into the world (October 22, 1955).

Yes, if you listen to and enjoy today's music... something is definitely wrong with you.

Really, I like this kind of genre. I actually said nothing against this kind of genre. I said I'm lucky my parents brought me up listening to this kind of music, so I came to know this wonderful songs. Is there anything wrong in what I said?

Your comment is mean-spirited and makes no sense. Politics have nothing to do with an appreciation of good music. I am a liberal and my favorite music is mostly pre-1980, a lot from the 40s, 50s, and 60s--soundtracks, Broadway musicals, Oldies, soul & Motown, jazz...People always have to drag in their ugly personal sentiments on completely unrelated issues and attempt to ruin enjoyment for others. :-/
