@EmmyBaby95 they're stupid

I agree, the first one was definitively better, it was more bright and active and matched the song quite well.

@underthainfluence : you must have had an awesome prom; the best song we had was "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls :P

I think the original video was better, this one is kinda weird (evil looking clown face and vampire chick). :)

@EmmyBaby95 a) good for you, and b) why do your friends make fun of it?

@Musicality14 Just because it's not "popular" doesn't mean you can't listen to it. I'm sure there's gotta be some swing bands out there right now. Indie music is pretty big right now.

The clown scared me!

It's just such a strange song to be so peppy for such a disturbing part of history...

I don't quite see what occult imagery has to do with 40s music. My film student friend would probably watch this over and over for hours on end, because he is into obscure music and strange imagery. Plus when I was younger, I thought one of the dancers looked like Molly Shannon of SNL, who he absolutely adores.

@Xantre07 In fact I am singing it in competition Tuesday Night! Oh this is rich-so rich! Cherry poppin' Daddies. If you're ever in the area of Sneads Ferry, NC- Come on out and have a good time at Lorelei's Pub and Grill! I'll see you there!

Does the lead singer remind anyone else of Bruce Campbell?

The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Squirrel Nut Zippers and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Brian Setzer was the front man for the Stray Cats which is where the line " Stray Cat frontin' out an eight piece band" in this song comes from.
