Tonight was crazy and here are some of the highlights from the Rays, Yankees, Red Sox and Orioles games. Not to mention that in addition to these games we had an unbelievable September come back by the Cardinals and Rays and total collapse by the Braves and Red Sox. September 28th was the most insane night of baseball I have ever experienced! Are you kidding me!!!

Tom Brady would've joined Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw as QBs that went 4-0 in SBs in a single decade.

However, that loss in SB 42 by the Patriots and going home emptyhanded is the absolute biggest collapse in sports. Sure, 18-1 is a great record, but two other teams (1984 49ers and 1985 Bears) also had 18-1 records and won their SBs. The 2007 Pats are the first team to go 18-1 and never win it all.

I'm sorry, but when you have a chance to leave a much historical footprint, not just in the NFL, but in all of sports, you gotta take it, but the 2007 Patriots didn't with that loss to the Giants in SB 42.

They could've been the greatest single season team in NFL history unseating the 1972 Miami Dolphins. They could've also been joining the 1970s Steelers and 1980s 49ers as teams that went 4-0 in SBs in a single decade.
