  • I don't like it one bit...

  • Well Elena Kagan does have one thing in common with obama. Both have no experience.

She will probably be just as big a screw up as him.

  • Thank you for posting this, CharlieRose.

  • @merylste - Your president's phrase; 'Adios amigo!' and his staff revving up boycotters in other states certainly invites no dialog to work together on the illegal alien problem in AZ. But thanks for the lecture.

  • @mrrepublican1234 If you are unable to acknowledge the economic collapse brewing coming to a head at the end of Bush's term, we have no factual basis to have a discussion. "Statist" agendas: "contrived emotional figurehead" are not phrases that invite dialogue and assist us in working together to find solutions to strengthen our people and our country.

  • A healthy anount of fear is a good thing. Blind obedience to a media contrived emotional figurehead is not only naive, but history has proven to be the downfall of many a civilization. When Obama & his left-wing stop ramming their Statist agenda down our throats (the view of 70% of Americans), we can start working together. Their track record proves only an election forcing them back into a minority will cause them to yield.

  • @merylste - Why are you blaming Bush for Obama's poor performance? Obama lurched us to the left so far that scarcely any investor has any confidence in this nation's economy anymore. Obama has had two years & accomplished nothing except spend our children & grandchildren into bankruptcy to pay for his socialist economic vision. Yet he preaches to the governments of Spain & Greece to be freugal. The hypocrisy is stunning.

  • @ShatterNWO Unlike Elena Kagan, you are not doing the work of analysis & putting her views in context. Comments from progressives and conservatives are not honing in on her remarkable qualities as a JURIST. If you listen to the Rachel Maddow segments with Lessig & Greenwald, you will get a fuller picture and may be more comfortable with the choice. r

  • In January when Obama took office, the state of the Union was in a shambles. Meltdown time. Private business is living off this nation by sucking it dry of it's natural resources and paying very little in return--the real welfare problem. Bush had 8 years and didn't accomplish anything positive w immigration reform. Let's drop the fear & try to work together for solutions.

  • As a patriotic American, anything Obama recommends frightens me. Here's why. He has used government to take over private businesses, neglect its obligations at the border, and then verbally abuse states who make an honest effort to secure borders with flasehood & ridicule. Why should I trust his recommendation for a Supreme Court Justice. Furthermore...an exhausting arguer is not a qualification for a judge.
