lymington slammers farewell

an end of era on the 22nd may 2010 as the only working public slammers left working in country undertook their final duties what a great day it was got on the last ever run of 1498 and had a nice long day thier plus got into the cab of 1498 the future of these units is unknown but all i can say is my fav units in the country are now gone 1497 and 1498 have served southwest trains well over the last 40-50 years a very great farewell it was
