@RichardDuryea As a filmmaker who participated for 3 years, I'm going to respectfully disagree. Yes, Campus Moviefest does own the rights to your short film after submission, but there is no valuable market for short films, so they are likely asking for the rights in order to use clips in promotions, not so they can steal anything from you. This festival should be used as a stepping stone for filmmakers, as it is meant to expose your imagination.
