  • i didnt realize how giant the piece was until the end.

  • use hyper MILL software for this operation, u can use big dia. cutter and the lead angle will auto adjust so u can take more stepover..

  • I cant believe you are finishing that with a 12 or 16mm ballnose. Use a bigger cutter and bigger stepovers !!

  • @zurinam Hes probably referring to material science and the building of structures by crystalline layers. They build small scale objects today using that technique. But it doesnt apply to everything. Metals are still very difficult to work with in terms of building them from the bottom up. I dont think in 10 years we'll achieve metals, but maybe Ceramics.
