Cherry Blossom Story- It is about the story of a tall, healthy and beautiful cherry blossom tree. It is an unusual story. The story unfortunately is not a happy one and has moved me so much that I decided to compose this song and call it "Cherry Blossom".

STORY Of THE CHERRY BLOSSOM TREE
*******************************************
The story take place in Japan during the world war II, where a zoo was being shut down because of the war. All animals were taken away except for 3 circus elephants who entertained the children that came to the zoo. They were simply too big to be transported to safer place. The zoo keepers had become very attached to these three elephants and were devastated when they were told that they had to kill them. Their skin was too tough to put them to sleep with needles, and they never ate the food, if they smelled the poison. It was decided that the elephants should be starved to death. The elephants were becoming very weak and desperate for food. Inside their cage they performed the old tricks that they had been taught hoping for a reward. The zookeepers couldn't stand to watch them suffer and gave in, giving them both food and water. But it was impossible to feed them everyday. Eventually, the elephants died of starvation. They were buried in a location at the zoo. The zookeepers decided in their memory to plant a small cherry blossom tree on top of their burial. When the war was over and the zoo was restored, the cherry blossom tree stood tall and beautiful in a middle of a park in the zoo to remind everyone of the sad story of the three elephants.

  • My goodness! Till now, two people don't like this piece of music, as registered on youtube's rating bar above the description. This must be wrong! Who wouldn't like this piece? This is even one of the most beautiful ever... I don't understand, I am perplexed in knowing this. Something must've gone wrong with this rating bar actually...

Don’t worry my dear friend! I am not a bit upset. In our world nothing is perfect, may be those tow friends who did not like my video have some reason. I only wish they could share their thought s with me so I could improve. You are very sensitive and caring.I am so proud to have a friend like you.

    Warm regards,

    Gene

  • For her young age Gene is already a composer who shows great promise. She has an ear for what flows well in a piece of music as she well demonstrates here in a sound which carries you away into a realm which reaches more than imagination. A peaceful yet mature sound which is truly pleasant to the ear - reaches the soul & can easily stand the test of time - this is what good compositions are made of. . . I encourage you to pursue your expression through composing music. APPLAUSE!! BRAVO!!!

  • @RoyalSnowbird Dear Christine,
