Maybe that was it, but whatever the case, when Rubberlegs found out what had happened he went ballistic threatened to beat the shit out of Parker if he saw him. Supposedly a subsequent session with the two was cancelled and Dizzy had to act very diplomatically to calm things down.

man....i have a bunch of 78's as well but you got me beat by a long shot....nobody here in the Pacific Northwest want to give their stuff away....or they want to give out crap that i don't like.......congrats man...how do you do it?

This is from a collection of about 320 jazz records I acquired from a friend who has carefully compiled this collection over many decades. Almost half way through the group, still a long way to go. Lots more to come.

The info from this session keeps getting better! I found out recently that this is the first session pairing Bird & Diz on record, now this!

Yeah, apparently this unit recorded 8 tunes on this session, half under Hart's name here & half under Trummy Young's name.

CDB, if I may, I'd like to post a video response featuring one of those Trummy Young ("Sorta Kinda") sides to compliment this.
