@imdejjaq You are being robbed anyway and there is nothing you can do about it;
don`t get too confident about locking people up mate!

Most if not all power company's have changed to digital meters
-
I sit here in Phoenix AZ and see two power companies SRP and APS advertise on TV and at sporting events and they even have there own suites at theses stadiums ?? What is the point it is not like I have a choice of which company I can use to power my home so as far as I see it they are spending money on nonsense and are always asking the Feds if they can raise their rates cause they are hurting ?? Steal what you can people its the American way !!
-
@kiaranbrown Tell em again!! The electric companies are robbing us blind. If someone steals from them[electric companies], they are only taking back what is being taken from them[the people]. That's like if someone stole your car. Would you try to get it back????

This is STEALING. Don't try to justify it. How would you like to turn the table around? You, as the supplier, would not want to be cheated. It's not a question of the rich and the poor.

@RavenMad101 Thanks for the lead on Nikola Tesla. Very interesting.

@gordofats I don't live in America.
Digital meters are already in place here, but I understand what your saying.
If you have the brains to clock meters, your time is better spent chasing legal avenues.
-
@kiaranbrown Yes but you have the right to refuse them! Remember this is america and the capabilities of the smart meter can possible infringe on constitutional rights which is a thing that can be took much deeper into consideration from a philosophical stand point.I mean that if the meter did infringe on human rights than its something that you should have the right to opt- out of no one owns you and the power company already knows how to monitor your power so no need to monitor you. good luck.

In life your gonna get fucked! Take no fear in grasping what little you can.
There are executives taking million pound/dollar bonuses whilst everyday people struggle to make the breadline.
The harder you work, the more they take. A system is in place where those in power have fine tuned how to milk us dry!
Power to the people!
Thanks for the dribble.
A better and much more effective way to save power is to turn off all appliances in your home, then go out and urinate on the electric meter. The results are literally shocking. Be sure to turn off all appliances first. Otherwise, they will use electricity the entire time that you are hospitalized, and the savings will be reduced.

Pull the main fuse,
drill a hole through the main fuse housing behind where the fuse sits,
run a tail from the main fuse feeding it behind the board and connect it to the sockets in your fuse board.
Disconnect and make safe the original live that came to the sockets fuse.
Replace the main fuse and your sockets should drawn power without clocking up the meter.
Your lights etc will still clock on your meter so the supplier doesn't get wise.
Run electric heaters so to save on your gas in one hit.
