http://www.ItSavesEnergy.com / Another standing ovation for Jackie Evancho. One word - "heavenly" via Sharon Osbourne.

Jackie Evancho continues to gain worldwide recognition with her amazing performances on America's Got Talent.

Here is Andrew Johnston's (age 14) version of the song on Britian's Got Talent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AV7HYVE-Oeo&feature=related

BIO
Jackie Evancho was born to Michael and Lisa Evancho, and has an older brother, a younger brother, and a younger sister. She started singing when she was seven years old, after watching the movie "Phantom of the Opera." Her mother heard Evancho singing songs from the movie and allowed her to enter a local talent contest just for fun. She finished as the runner-up and was voted the audience favorite. Eventually she participated in other talent contests and started a YouTube channel.

Evancho has performed onstage with producer David Foster; was an invited performer on the PBS Special "Celebrate America" with conductor/composer Tim Janis; sang the national anthem at an event honoring aviation pioneer General Chuck Yeager; and has performed many times at the invitation of Pennsylvania Senator Jane Orie. Jackie also performs at numerous events and charity functions in and around her hometown.

Jackie Evancho sings in the "classical crossover" style of singers such as Hayley Westenra and Sarah Brightman. She studies singing with a voice coach, and also plays the violin and piano.

On November 1, 2009, Evancho released her debut album called "Prelude to a Dream." The album features mainly covers of songs such as Martina McBride's "Concrete Angel," Josh Groban's "To Where You Are," and a cover of "Amazing Grace," among others. Several crossover selections appear on the album as well; "Con te Partiro" is not an operatic piece, although "O Mio Babbino Caro" does appear in Puccini's "Gianni Schicchi." The version of Schubert's "Ave Maria" heard on the album is not the original song, which is set to a secular text in German. Instead, it's an arrangement of the Roman Catholic setting of the "Hail Mary" prayer in Italian.

On December 2, 2010, she is scheduled to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York City, and will be the youngest female vocal soloist ever to have performed there.

On August 10, 2010, on America's Got Talent, she performed "O Mio Babbino Caro" by Giacomo Puccini. The aria is also on her debut album. She received a standing ovation after her performance, and was awarded a trip to Universal Studios in Florida for receiving the most fan votes from the submissions to the show from YouTube.

  • I was speechless before when I first saw Jackie.. blown away..stunned.. but when I just saw her PBS show I called everyone I knew to watch her.. I watch with a heart full of joy and when she sang the Lord's prayer tears flowed freely and I'm a 63 yr old man.. This was incredible every song was perfection,, You can see David Foster in the back ground playing the piano and he can't stop smiling..

  • @Nakuna123 I'm thinking I could take a video of this video, plug it into my TV, and then take a video of that video, and then we would have some real quality! This sets video back 20 years... Wait, I've got an old super 8 somewhere we could try....

  • Nice tits.

  • SHE IS FROM GOD'S OWN CHOIR AND IT IS WE THAT ARE SO BLESSED TO HEAR THIS ANGEL SING.....

  • @littlejackrussell - FYI - I sent you a private message with the link

  • @lordbalfor I will try to do just that but I never have any luck finding these sites. Old man computers you know how that goes lol

  • @littlejackrussell - While I can't post URLs here, if you go the classical-crossover site in the UK theres a thread with a link to KNPR (I think the Reno station) interview with both Jackie and DF. It's a LONG interview - maybe 15 minutes or so of audio - and very in depth so it provides a LOT of insight into both Jackie's plans AND her relationship with DF. It's BY FAR the best interview with Jackie out there.

  • @lordbalfor I in no way will disagree with you. I was just going by one clip where DF was talking about her singing with him before AGT, Jackie said it was the best time or year of my life, I could have that wrong also.

  • @littlejackrussell - She'd not been "singing with DF for year". She'd performed with him ONCE - a year previously - then they went their separate ways. At the time DF noted she had talent but wasn't ready for "prime time" yet. Nearly a year later DF saw her on TV when she 1st appeared on AGT and remembered her so he got in touch with her again.

  • @lordbalfor I know it's a little late commenting on your comment but I can now see why she didn't win, She didn't need to. I have read on here sometime back that it was in her contract not to win. It would not been ment for her to win. She had been singing with DF for a year and needed her name out there. She came on as a PRO already. She was put in as a ringer and all the others didn't even stand a chance. If that is the way it went down, I am so glad they did it.

  • nooooo mmmmaaaaaaaaameeeeeeessss wwwwwwwwwwwwoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww bbbrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaavoooooooooo!!!!!!

  • Tal vez exagero un poco, pero la luz sobre ella en el 0:57 parece el Espíritu Santo.
