GP2 Main Series 2011-2013 PURE SOUND!!

I've recorded the new version of the GP2 Series for 2011. The version of these cars changes every three years so we will see this new version till 2013.
This was during the Pirelli tyre test for the F1 and GP2.
The sound is quite similar with the old version but in my opinion the RPM limit is higher but I'm not sure.

@RedhotIta1 its not Ecclestone that wants it, its Jean Todt and all his greeny treehugging sponsors that want it to look good for the environment. Either way, twin turbo v6 is not gonna sound good

I sounds like a V8 de-tuned to about 12,000rpm not 18,000 like the F1's, but it makes a nicer sound I admit that, its less harsh and annoying on the ears then the mosquito like scream of the current F1's, which sound flat and dont have the talk they had back in the V10 and V12 days! These GP2's sound abit like the late 80's early 90's turbo era, quite a deep roar with lots of popping with the upshifts and downshifts etc..

@RedhotIta1 I said that I prefer this rather than the current V8s that sound like a bunch of mosquitos in my ear.

Of course this GP2 car has nothing to do against the old and glorious V10 and V12 engines.

And Ecclestone won the championship with a BMW inline-4 Turbo, not a V4. =)

I must admit that GP2 has better sound than the current V8 2.4L engines of F1. They remind me the F1's V10 from the 90's.
