  • it is actually sine A over a =Sine B over b

  • @muffdog1234 The Sine Law formula is a proportion. Yours is an equivalent proportion to the one I used, and there is really no difference between them. The 4 values in any proportion can be assembled in 12 different ways, and 8 of them will be correct. When students ask me what is the best way to assemble their proportion, I tell them to use the way they like best, but try to always use the same technique, since they will feel comfortable with it and be less likely to make a mistake.

  • oh one more question if i want to practice and make my own questions can i just right in any number for the angle and length

  • You can make up random measures, but make them realistic. For example, if you make the longest side 12 and the shortest side 15, the formulas will still work, but the answers might look silly when you look at the triangle.

  • does it matter which side you call A or B

  • It does not matter, as long as you always put side a opposite from angle A and side b opposite from angle B.

  • this is really helpful. I can never understand my teacher and it is so hard to just read notes and figure out what they are saying. I spent one whole class in school learning this and left without a clue in the world, than I watched this video and I got it instantly.

  • That shift 2nd function is the part I always forgot so was always wrong!

  • COD TRICKTIONARY IS GOING TO FAIL ALGERBRA

  • why did you say 2nd sine? didn't you mean sine inverse of..?

  • thank you so much, that really cleared things up for me

  • wtc thats my name

  • @muffdog1234 It doesn't matter, does it? Seeing as how you cross multiply two equations.

  • @dougsimmsonline this is the bit i always struggle with. Does this mean you do not have to re-arrange the formula for cosine rule a(sq) = b(sq) + c(sq) -2bcCosA as you can label any side a?? Thanks in advance.

  • @guyanaboi92 my exams tommorwi 'm getting helped too xD

  • @ 2:53 when you say 12 x sin 31, why do you change the answer from 6.18045 to 6.1805?

  • Really helpful
