Shw mae Alan,
Y mae'n anodd cyfiethu "hiraeth" a "chynefin" i'r Saesneg -- ond mae'r lluniau ac y gerddoriaeth yn egluro y syniadau!

I really like your use of blues. Uncommon, to my eye! Nice!
Very best wishes for health and happiness, my friend!

Thanks! It's a beautiful portrait! I thought that might be a Welsh song. Very distinctive! One of the best concerts I ever attended was a traditional Welch group who came here to Atlanta at Christmastime. So wish I could remember the name of the group...

Beautiful paintings Alan 5*
You have a unique vision Alan! Lovely work! Interesting portraits and I love your skies! If you don't mind me asking, who is in the painting at 2.22? Thanks for sending gerdenshed! I've been trying to get around, but have been busy lately. Glad to see this! Oh, and can you tell about the song Alan?

Thanks for the comments - the painting you refer to is called "Changes-Ty Capel" and features fiddle player "Sean Ffidl" and guitarist Arthur Bond. The song is a traditional Welsh song called "Hiraeth" which very loosely translates as "longing".
