I lost my '72 Gold Top Deluxe with P-90 soap bar pickups in a fire 6 years ago. I got insurance money for it, but still have not found a suitable replacement since it felt, played & sounded so sweet. Thanks for the post.

i also have a 71 deluxe all org. sort of some ass put ina burst bucker b4 me in the bridge but it was a pro job and its pretty cool with that pup combo and damn she is very heavy as well

Sweet axe I had a later model but the neck was like a 2 by 4. How is this neck. Killer tone and great chops my friend!

The guitar is VERY heavy :) The neck has low action and is like silk on the back.
