I caught Hugo, my betta, sleeping in his flower. So cute. I guess it's his flower bed:P

  • @mydeadsea - How could I say no to my inspiration? :) I'm thinking about a month before it's cycled and fully stocked and what not. I will definitely keep you posted. Do you still have Hugo?

  • @Bricksmama Inspiration?? Awwwww, lol. .. I feel special:D.. Yep I still have Hugo :D .. Only he's in a 5 gallon hex now instead of that tank. I used all the same decorations and gravel and set it up basically the same (minus that background). I found the tank in this video in my moms basement, cleaned it all up, decorated and filled it, then found out why it was down there in the first place. (It leaks when you fill it past a certain point). Alright that sounds good! ^__^

  • I've always went for a natural setup with live plants, but for a small tank your design is just so pretty! I'm thiking I'll try something like this for my 6.6G bookshelf tank.

  • @Bricksmama

Thank you :) .. For huge tanks I prefer the natural look myself, but when it's a small tank I like to have fun with it :) (since if I dont like it, it's so easy to change). I'd love to see video if you go for a fun design with your 6 gallon!

  • What a beautiful tank set up.

  • @jlow204

aw thank you! :) he's in a 5 gallon hex tank now but it pretty much looks the same. (I used the same decorations and everything).

  • @MrTconga

thanks! :) .. I cant say for 100% certain that they dont do anything to the water, but I've been using them for years with bettas and other types of fish and have had zero problems. The only thing is, dont get dark colors (they bleed), and make sure there's nothing glued on to them that could come off in the water, and no glitter or anything like that. (And nothing hard/pointy that could hurt a betta). Other than that, they work fine for me :)

  • lol flower bed. =) good one.

  • @Tolatupuss

    thanks! :)
