I pushed my 1979 toro snowblower to the limit to see just how hard this machine can work. I took this small machine through 8 inches of a packed down wind driven mixture of snow, freezing rain and sleet. This is heavy and you probably wouldnt want to shovel it.

  • wow is that thing direct drive or is he holding the bardown thats all

  • @300Dnikon the padal is always engaged. there is no way to stop it. this was made right before stupid people made it necessary for safety features to be added.

  • he aint blowing deep enough as you can see his footprints look like he is leaving an 1 1/2 inch snow in path

  • @Olddog231 that is to protect the lawn from getting damaged walking on it and with the blower digging in. when it freezes, then i just use the solid base as if it were concrete. stays frozen all year long and potects the grass.

  • geez not strong but really capable for ist size and year

  • for its size it is very strong. look at the height of the machine and the snow i am throwing.

  • A missing toro snowblower ??

It's a 2 stroke engine and you better have the right oil mix in that fresh gas buddy or you get demoted to the hand shovel pretty quick.

  • hey thers a snowblower like that one in the trash but its all beat to shit. i still wanna take it for parts tho

  • anyone know the factory carb setting on these plzz

  • Where is the model number/serial number plate on this? We just bought the same one and don't see the serial number to try to get a manual online for it.. thanks.

  • What kinda dog is that

  • I have that same one I'm only 12 and I fixed mine up it only needed a new spark plug and the carb needed to be cleaned and I got it from the dump

  • I just picked one up for $30....Had to rebuild the carb and thats it...cant wait to get it out in the snow and try it out!....Only thing i found strage was that the metal cover on the carb is aimed up, so if anything falls down into it, it'll get sucked into the carb. i turned mine down towards the ground

  • That is a perfectly tuned Tecumseh. Sounds beautiful. Like a work of art. Do you have 2 adjustment screws on your carburetor? Or 1? I only have 1. What RPM is that thing running at about? Did you put a tachometer on it?

  • @semtech30 manual says it'll run on a mix anywhere from 32:1 to 100:1....throw a little oil into some gas & it should run. It's a 2-stroke, not a performance engine.

    I'm sold....this looks like a solid blower.

  • I can't wait to get my S200 going. I tried starting it today and it just sputters and dies. I just rebuilt the whole thing. I'm thinking it's a plugged up muffler. I might cut a section of pipe away and just run "open headers" if I can't get it unplugged. I'll look at the carb again too. At least I have my 4 HP Lawn Boy D400 series powered Gilson Snow Cannon! Now that thing launches the snow REALLY far. It's got a chute, not vanes.

  • @kwacz i got half w/ safety, half w/o

  • " my electri snow blower ran out of gas" ha?
