My first time out with my GoPro HD Camera. This is on a one way, single lane road near where I live.

  • I'm writing an article for Wing World about GoPro camera mounts. You seem to have covered them all nicely. Did you use a pole for the overhead shots?

  • @larrycole45 I have the GoPro helmet kit with an optional "X Arm" pole with the tripod adapter for the GOpro. Like my son said I taped the pole to the antenna for the over head shot. I used the sticky pads on top of the mirror and the helmet mounts. I used the clamps for the front crash bar and the rear crash bar. You have to be careful on the rear crash bar because of ground clearance. I almost lost the camera back there.

  • As comfortable as that looks, it appears to have a rather modest ground clearance before you are scraping hard bits, I don't know if I could live with that sacrifice.

Very nice ride and video though.

  • @JuzzyDee It does appear to have modest ground clearance with this wide angle lens mounted down low. Do a search for " deals gap on a goldwing/gl1800 by yellow wolf dragons tail " and watch with a normal lens, two Goldwing 1800's touching the hard parts down. I was surprised the first time I rode a Gl1800.

  • Great video! thanks for the ride !

  • @larrycole45 I could answer that. :) I'm the son who helped edit the video. He used a pole that was tapped to his radio antenna in the back of the back. It can get wobbly but my dad did a pretty good job with making it steady. :)

  • Fun!

  • nice bike wishing you a good day
