To your question, I have never heard of, or have seen that particular brew here in America, but I would love to try. Also, my girlfriend is taking a trip to Germany and Italy and other places next year (she is staying at a bed and breakfast on the Rhine) and I would love her to bring me back something. Are there any beers that you recommend her bring back that she might be able to find?

Oh, as for availability... This beer is not available in Eastern Canada, and I've never seen it in Moscow, Russia either (although it may be available in some special shops). Cheers!

You have to get some proper beer glassware, though.
I don't think this beer is sold in my area.
