two stroke vs four stroke

My mate's freshly rebuilt 2 stroke rm 250 Racing my husqvarna te510. It keeps up until the top of third gear then it's all over for the little two stroke.

@iluv2stroke Sorry mate I have owned, This RM250 in the video, a husqvarna wr250, wr360 and also a kx500 (all 2 strokes) I'm not biased like you, all i have to do is look at your user name. This husqvarna would keep with my kx 500 all the way to 120kmh.modern four strokes these day's are quick, fuel efficent, torquey, responsive, and good in nearly any gear. Whereas 2 strokes are light/nimble and easy to maintain but they just chew fuel, and smoke. and they stall easy on the trails.

iluv2strokes, ive been to a 2012 ktm xc launch and trust me, this video is no fake. the ktm 500xc is not actually faster off the line than a standard 450f / 250 2stroke, but will whip a 450's ass in a long drag, much like the te510 did to the rm250. stop bitching, sometimes u hav to accept defeat. P.S the rm250 is an awesome bike on an mx track.

i would deff get a newer big bore if i ever got another 4 stroke. but for now, all my thumpers are three-wheelers or pitbikes.

@xKILLZONAx they put in!, The last bike I had was an 08 Crf450R and I find it is quicker yet still more forgiving because of the power curve is not so "IN YOUR FACE" . Modern bigbore enduro's are fantastic like that, Weather it's a ktm530, Sherco, Husaberg whatever....
